Cannabis Vape Pens & Vaporizers
ColdFire Vape Pens: Live Resin, Cured Resin, and Live Rosin
ColdFire builds cannabis vape pens for people who buy on flavor. There are two lines. Our resin vapes are cured resin Juice Carts, live resin Juice Carts, and Resin Juice Bars. Our solventless line is the Rosin Juice Bar.
The resin vapes are extracted in-house below -100°F in a single pass, and they are 100% cannabis. No distillate, no cutting agents, no botanical terpenes, and no oil sourced from anybody else. Every cart is single-source: we extract it, we fill it, and we put our name on it.
Rosin is a different process. Live rosin is solventless, made with nothing but ice water, heat, and pressure, and no hydrocarbon touches it at any stage. We source our rosin from solventless specialists and prepare it in-house for the Juice Bar format, which is the only place you will find ColdFire rosin.
If you have been searching for ColdFire carts, cold fire juice, or a ColdFire vape pen, this is the lineup. We call the oil Juice, the 510-thread cartridges Juice Carts, and the all-in-one devices Juice Bars.
You can find ColdFire vapes at licensed dispensaries across California, from Los Angeles and San Diego up through the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the North State.
Shop ColdFire Vapes by Format
Our resin vape products start with the same single-pass extraction process used for our badder. Across those three, what changes is the hardware and how much work you want to do. Rosin Juice Bars sit outside that process and are covered on their own below.
Cured Resin Juice Carts: 1g, 510-thread
Our highest-volume product and the one most people mean when they say ColdFire carts. Made from flower that has been properly dried and cured, which lets the flavor settle into something deeper and more layered, bakery, gas, and earth. Cured resin runs 5–10% terpenes in our carts. Nugs, smalls, sugar leaf, and select trim only, never floor sweep, sticks, or stems. Fits any standard 510-thread battery.
Live Resin Juice Carts: 1g, 510-thread
Made from flower flash-frozen right at harvest, before the volatile terpenes get a chance to evaporate. This is the loudest thing we put in a cart, 10–15% terpenes on average, and the aroma is close to what the plant smelled like alive. We reserve it for the most expressive indoor cultivars. Also 510-thread, also 1g.
Resin Juice Bars: All-in-One
The same cured and live resin from our cart line, in the all-in-one Juice Bar format. If you want ColdFire oil without owning a battery, or you want something that fits in a pocket without a cart threaded onto it, this is the one. Rechargeable, draw-activated, ready out of the box.
Rosin Juice Bars: Solventless All-in-One
Our solventless line, and the only place you will find ColdFire rosin. Live rosin is made without solvents of any kind, no hydrocarbon and no chemicals, just ice water, heat, and pressure applied to fresh-frozen flower. We source our rosin from solventless specialists and prepare it in-house for the Juice Bar format. Like the resin line, it comes as an all-in-one rather than a cartridge, so there is no battery to buy and nothing to screw on. Charge it, hit it, recycle it.
Batteries & Hardware
Our 510 carts need a battery, and which one you use changes how they taste. We make the ColdFire Juice Straw, and we build collabs with Vessel, the Core and the Compass. The Essentials Kit is the cheapest way in if you are starting from nothing. Hardware is the one thing you can buy directly from us and have shipped; carts are sold separately at dispensaries.
Cultivator Collab Drops
A large share of our vape releases are collabs with California growers, Blem, Lumpy’s, Dubz Garden, Booney Acres, CAM, Motley Terps, Flight Path, Green Dawg, and others. Those are one-time runs tied to a specific harvest, so when they are gone, they are gone. Check the Drops page to see what is on shelves this week and where.

If you are new to ColdFire, start with a cured resin Juice Cart. It is the most forgiving, the easiest flavor to read, and the widest availability. If you already know which cultivars you chase, go live. If you would rather not think about batteries at all, take a Juice Bar. If you only smoke solventless, the Rosin Juice Bar is the one.
Extracted Below -100°F: Why Our Resin Vapes Taste Different
Terpenes are fragile. Heat and repeated processing destroy them, which is why so many carts on the shelf end up potent but flat. Our resin process is built around not doing that.
- Ultra-low temperature extraction. We run below -100°F to keep the volatile aromatic compounds intact.
- Single pass. One run, no repeated refinement. Every additional processing step is another chance to strip character out of the oil.
- Zero additives. No distillate, no cutting agents, no botanical terpenes, no oil sourced from another extractor. Pure cannabis.
- High terpene content. Our cured resin carts run 5–10% terpenes and our live resin carts run 10–15%, well above what most cartridges on the shelf test at.
- Full transparency. Every batch is tested by a California-licensed lab. Our full testing catalog, including PhytoFacts terpene breakdowns, is public.
Rosin gets to flavor a different way. Nothing is extracted with solvent at all, so the standard is not low temperature but no chemistry whatsoever. Different route, same reason: we would rather the plant do the talking. Rosin Juice Bars carry the same California-licensed lab testing as everything else we put our name on.
There is a practical consequence to all of this. Because there is no distillate thinning it out, ColdFire oil is thicker and far more terpene-dense than a standard cart, and it responds badly to being run hot. That’s what the next section is about.
Batteries and Voltage: Getting a Full Gram Out of a ColdFire Cart
Most complaints about any cart fall in the categories of: harsh hits, burnt flavor, clogging, oil that seems to disappear. But, these aren’t problems with the oil, they’re hardware problems. Here are a few things we think are worth knowing.
Run it low
We recommend running ColdFire oil between 1.9V and 2.4V, and sometimes lower than that. High-terpene oil scorches at settings a distillate cart handles fine. On a variable-voltage battery, start at the bottom of that range and work up only if the draw feels weak. You are looking for flavor, not clouds; if you taste anything sharp or burnt, you have gone too high.
Any 510 battery works, but not equally well
ColdFire Juice Carts use a standard 510 thread, so they fit the overwhelming majority of batteries on the market. What varies is temperature control. A fixed-voltage pen gives you one setting and you live with it. A variable-voltage battery lets you actually tune for flavor, which matters more with our oil than with most.
Our Hardware
- ColdFire Juice Straw. Our own draw-activated 510 battery. Slim, no buttons, nothing to set.
- ColdFire x Vessel Core. Variable voltage, machined finish, USB-C.
- ColdFire x Vessel Compass. Compact variable-voltage collab.
- ColdFire Essentials Kit. The entry point if you are starting with nothing.
Batteries and accessories are the one part of the lineup you can order directly from us and have shipped to you. However, cartridges are not, those come from a licensed dispensary.
Store it Upright
Keep carts standing up, at room temperature, and out of direct sun. Oil that sits sideways in a warm car migrates into places it should not be, which is where most clogs start.
ColdFire Vape Pen FAQs
What is a live resin cart?
A cartridge filled with extract made from cannabis that was flash-frozen immediately after harvest instead of dried and cured first. Freezing locks in the volatile terpenes that would otherwise evaporate during drying, so the oil tastes closer to the living plant. Live resin is a description of the starting material and the process, not a potency claim.
Live resin or cured resin, which cart should I buy?
Cured resin is deeper, rounder, and more layered, and it is the better value across the lineup. Live resin is brighter and louder, with higher terpene content, and it is where we put our most expressive indoor cultivars. Neither is a step down from the other. If you are choosing blind, start cured.
What is the difference between live resin and live rosin?
One letter, two completely different processes. Live resin is extracted with a hydrocarbon solvent, which we do in-house below -100°F in a single pass. Live rosin uses no solvent at all, just ice water, heat, and pressure applied to fresh-frozen flower. Both start from the same kind of material and both aim at the same thing, which is keeping the plant’s flavor intact. Our resin goes into Juice Carts and Resin Juice Bars. Our rosin goes into Rosin Juice Bars, and it is sourced from solventless specialists and then prepared in-house for that format.
Is ColdFire distillate?
No. There is no distillate in any ColdFire product. Distillate is oil refined down to near-pure cannabinoid, which strips out the terpenes, and flavor then gets added back in. We do the opposite: our resin is single-pass extraction below -100°F, 100% cannabis, nothing added and nothing recombined from other material, and our rosin is solventless. That is why our carts test at 5–15% terpenes rather than the 1–3% typical of a distillate cart.
What voltage should I use for a ColdFire cart?
Lower than you probably think. We recommend between 1.9V and 2.4V, and sometimes lower still. High-terpene oil burns at settings a distillate cart tolerates. Start at the bottom of that range and step up only until the draw feels full. If you taste harshness or burnt sugar, drop back down.
Do ColdFire Juice Carts fit any 510 battery?
Yes. Our carts are standard 510-thread and work with effectively any 510 battery, including our Juice Straw and the Vessel collabs. Variable-voltage batteries give you better flavor control than fixed-output pens, which matters when the recommended range is 1.9V to 2.4V.
What is a Juice Bar?
A Juice Bar is our all-in-one. Battery and oil in one sealed, rechargeable device. That means no cart to thread on, no separate hardware to buy. Resin Juice Bars carry the same cured and live resin as our cart line. Rosin Juice Bars carry solventless live rosin.
What is the difference between a Juice Cart and a Juice Bar?
Mostly the hardware. A Juice Cart is a 1g 510-thread cartridge that screws onto a battery you already own. A Juice Bar is a self-contained all-in-one device. A Resin Juice Bar holds the same oil as our carts, from the same runs. A Rosin Juice Bar is the exception: that is solventless rosin, a different product from a different process.
What do ColdFire vape pens cost?
Retail price is set by the dispensary, not by us, so it varies by store and by promotion. Carts and Juice Bars sit in the premium tier of the California vape market, you are paying for single-source oil with no distillate in it. Check current menu pricing at any retailer on the ColdFire Locator. Batteries and accessories are priced on our site, from $14.99 for the Essentials Kit to $49.99 for the Vessel Compass.
Can I buy ColdFire vape pens online?
Cannabis products, no, not from us directly. ColdFire carts, Juice Bars, and concentrates are sold only through licensed California dispensaries and licensed delivery services, and many of those retailers let you order online for in-store pickup or delivery. Use the ColdFire Locator to find one near you. Batteries, hardware, and merch you can buy straight from this site and we will ship them.
Can I order ColdFire on Weedmaps?
Yes. ColdFire has a brand page on Weedmaps listing every current cart, Juice Bar, and battery alongside the licensed retailers carrying them, with pickup and delivery available depending on the store. It is the fastest way to see who has a specific flavor in stock right now.
How much can I buy in California?
Adults 21 and older can purchase up to 8 grams of cannabis concentrate in a single transaction in California, and vape cartridges and all-in-ones count toward that limit. Medical patients have a separate allotment. Your dispensary will confirm current limits at checkout.
How do I know my ColdFire vape is authentic?
Authentic ColdFire is sold only through licensed dispensaries and carries our branding along with California-compliant lab testing. If you found “ColdFire” for sale on a website that ships to your door, it is not ours. Every real batch has results you can look up in our testing catalog.
Why is my cart clogged or not hitting?
Usually airflow, not the cart. Take the cart off the battery and check that the mouthpiece is clear. If oil has migrated, warm the cart gently in your hand, never with a lighter or hot water, and take a few slow pulls with the battery off to reseat it. If the battery is draw-activated and unresponsive, it may need a charge or the contact may need cleaning with a dry swab. Running the battery above 2.4V is the most common cause of both burnt flavor and clogging.
